A (not so) Small Recap.....

I didn't post anything for Valentine's Day. I should have. I always thought that I was a pretty thoughtful person until I met Cole. He goes above and beyond thoughtfulness, seriously he is the best. Since we had already bought Guitar Hero (which, by the way, will be the death of me or the cause of my carpal tunnel) we agreed not to get anything else. This seemed to work fine since we both had to work all day and wouldn't see each other until at least 10:00 that night. Plus, I wasn't feeling too great and didn't have much energy to muster up something great.
Anyway, we told each other our Happy Valentine's Day...I love you's... at about 6:15 a.m just as Cole headed out the door and I was waking up for the day. I did end up making some heart shaped brownies because I'm that kind of good wife. Then 9:30 p.m. rolled around and Cole showed up with not only McDonald's (yes this is my food of choice...don't hate) but also CANDY, BALLOONS and the most BEA-utiful bright PiNk roses.

I have never seen any roses more beautiful. This picture doesn't show the true color, they are like neon pink...so cool. They are just ME to a tee. Pink is the best. So, there is just a taste of how cool, fun, sweet and thoughtful my Cole is. Love you honey!
We also received some SWEET Valentines from our cute little nephews which we loved. (April, if you read this.... those cookies were sooooo yummy! Feel free to make them ANYTIME)

Friday night as I was in the middle of my cleaning night, I had a super surprise visit from two of my favorite people in the entire world....my MoM & DaD! They were in town on a date and decided to stop by my place on their way home. You can guess what they might have been subjected to.....
I must say, my Dad rocked it. I know with a little practice, he will be half as good as I am. :) I was so glad they stopped by, it totally made my night! Love these two!

Saturday we celebrated CoLe's MoM's BiRtHdAy . We went out for a little dinner and then came home and had cake and ice cream with the grandparents. Here are just a few pics from the night....

We got her a red hand mixer (has anyone ever tried to find one of these???? They are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to come across. No joke.)
Okay, this is Whit. You'll get to know her well here, especially come hunting season. She is Cole's pride and joy. She loves getting gifts and will tear into any present she can get her paws on. I don't know if she just likes to rip paper or if she really thinks she'll find something for herself. You should have seen her at Christmas.... anyway, it is funny stuff.
