Is anyone else really sick of this whole "economy bind" we're in? I mean like really really sick of it? Just last night I ran to the store to pick up a few things to make dinner (literally 3-4 items) and by the time I had everything I needed I had spent nearly 10 bucks! That might not seem like much to some of you, but ONE homeade meal for only TWO people? I was ticked! We'd almost be better off becoming dollar menuaires at McDonalds.....but sick.
I feel forced to shop the germ infested Walmart for groceries each week because really, you can't beat the prices. We are almost guaranteed to come out in a horrible mood and in need of a shower every time. And do you notice the Walmart smell? Guh. It makes me gag just thinking about it....and you know that every single one has the same smell...well stench.
And gas. Don't even get me started on gas prices. I'm going to have to start selling my limbs if this gets much worse. (although, did you know that gas is almost $10/gallon in Europe? poor babies)
I don't mean to sound so negative...but this is getting ridiculous. I should be spending precious dollars on more important things like shoes and fun. Don't you agree????

I am SO with you on this! I went to Lee's on Monday to buy some grapes for a bridal shower; I got a little over a pound of each the green and purple grapes! Seven bucks later, I walked out with only the grapes! I grumbled all the way home about that! Grr!
Totally and completely agree, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for a change any time soon. What you should do is move to Montana so you can save on sale tax. Just don't buy a home because then you'll get murdered on property tax. Miss you!
Totally agree.It is crazy, I hate going to the store just for that reason! Spending my money on shoes would make me so much happier!
