These are a few of my favorite things....

A few of my favorite Christmas things that is. We've had our decorations up since the week before Thanksgiving and I can't help but look at each decoration, each ornament on the tree and become flooded with memories.

So, here are just a few of my favorite Christmas things......

This was our very first ornament. We got it on our honeymoon at a cute little shop in Disneyworld. Every year I put it up, I remember what a blast we had. And makes me want to go back immediately!

Our Christmas tree. This is the 3rd year we've had this tree and I love it. Partly because its a cinch to put together and partly because its pre-lit and beautiful. We are lucky to have a tree FuLL of ornaments. Cole's mom went on an ornament frenzy last year and from that we obtained several seriously adorable ornaments. Plus, I inherited all of my own ornaments from my childhood. I love it.

My mom made this little ceramic box and gave it to my grandpa when my parents were first married. He kept it on his shelf all year round and I can remember the exact place it was kept. After he died, the box was given back to my mom and then last year it was given to me. This is one of the most special gifts I've ever been given. Every time I look at it, I feel him near. My grandpa was and is one of the most important people in my life and I miss him most during Christmas time.

My nativity. Cole's mom gave this little set to me. It is a children's set, but I love it more than any nativity scene I've seen. This is one of my favorite things to open up when we get the decorations out. It is just sweet and simple.

Our Christmas Village. We decided to go with a more "rustic" village, and it has been really fun to add on to it every year.

No Christmas would be complete without Christmas movies.

I used to love watching these with my mom (all year round!). It really can't get any better than these classics. Nothing can get me in the Christmas spirit like these flicks can.

We are feeling the Christmas spirit like crazy around here. It has been a long time since I've been such a Christmas fanatic. Only 16 days y'all!!!
