Somthing I'm trying to avoid.....

But I'm finding it really difficult while the Gods of Bad Luck find any way and every way to take a dump on my life this week.

Even the free Christmas music isn't helping.

I think a little White Christmas is in order

If that doesn't help....I don't know what will.

So we had big plans this weekend. Big plans to get our new camera. Well we got it. And here it is...

This is a Nikon Coolpix S70. You know the one that Ashton Kutcher says is awesome and has a way awesome touch screen and has way awesome features?

Well it takes a not so awesome picture. No its worse than that. It takes a CRAP picture.

We got home and played with it and changed all the settings and still couldn't get a decent picture. We did have a Sony Cybershot which we loved....but the shutter stopped opening and it would cost as much as the camera cost itself to fix, so we thought we were safe in buying a camera TWICE as much as that one.

We took it back.

We are so disappointed. And we really want a camera before Christmas. We're thinking of splurging even more than we planned with this piece of ______ (be creative). Ugh I don't know!

If you have any suggestions....do tell!

getting my summer on

Snow on the 1st day of April doesn't get me down.
Not when my toesies are sporting a summery shade of MaMbo MeLon or maybe a little StrAwBeRRy????

(this is not the color....think brighter....summerier!!!!)

My sis-in-law is doing the Avon thing and I've got to be honest, I never knew they had such cute stuff! Along with the fab nail polish, I got some sandles and some sunglasses (wishing it would have come with some sun) all of which I love AND were all super inexpensive. I think the polish is even cheaper now than when I got it.

So I say, buy yourself something (or a few somethings ;) summery to say "stick it" to this snow. And just for the heck of it, here is a shameless plug to my sister-in-laws website where you can find your own summery shades for your toes!

My mind has been on ALL things SuMMeR today. Maybe its the fact that its over 40 degrees outside today....or maybe its the fact that I have simply had it with winter. It is just a hassle. The shoveling, the scraping off windows early in the morning, not forgetting to put a coat on before heading out the door...I've just had it.

If we don't see some serious changes in weather, I think I'm going to have to convince Cole to take me somewhere nowhere near here. Whaddya think honey??? Vegas.... Disneyland..... Florida..... Cabo..... yes?

If I wake up to this ONE more time...

I swear we will pack up and move to Arizona. This is what was outside our door Sunday morning. This is just too much! This snow is trying its best to ruin each pair of winter shoes I own and it is succeeding. I can't wait til SuMmEr!!!
