Today was my mom's birthday! I feel lucky to have Mother's Day and her birthday so close together, because ALL month I think about just how special she is. I am a lucky girl because my mom and I have such a close bond that not a lot of mothers and daughters get to share. I am her ONLY girl and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. When I was little I remember the one thing I absolutly loved was going out for a "girls day". I still look forward to spending time with her. She has been my best friend my entire life and I don't know what I'd do without her. My mom is so sweet and kind. She tries her best to make everyone feel welcome when they're at her house. You can ALWAYS count on finding all kinds of snacks and goodies at her house which is seriously bad for me, but I really do love it. She is such a good grandma and the grandkids flock to her whenever she is around. So, if you ever need a hug or some goodies, swing by my mom's house :)
