Well, the birthday was more than I could have hoped for. I was blessed with a 4 day weekend (thanks to the employers:) which gave me plenty of time for good naps, fireworks and of course an awesome day to celebrate my birth!
I had such a perfect fun day and I feel so blessed to have such awesome people in my life. Thank you to those who called, texted and sent cards....it totally made my day!
Friday started off with a fun breakfast (courtesy of my cute hubby!) and then it was off to my parents house. We were greeted by my sweetest, cutest little nephews who had been patiently waiting on the front porch for us to get there. They were so excited to get me inside to see their "surprise" they had waiting which was a cake and gifts (both of which they had completely picked out themselves). Those little buggers are such a highlight in my life, couldn't love them more. Birthdays are so much more fun with little kiddies around! We spent a little time chit chatting with my parents and then headed to my in-law's.
There, we had our next round of cake and ice cream. Cole had picked out the cutest cake that I love love loved and to top it off, Cole's mom made the yummiest homeade ice cream! Whit was more than happy to help with the gifts, naturally. I loved just hanging out and talking and laughing. Cole's parents seriously crack me up!
After a little nap, I woke up to open some more presents from Cole. He was so sweet and got me everything I asked for :) Clothes (of course!), running stuff, cute bathroom decor and the pre-ordered book Breaking Dawn (which I am totally beyond belief excited for). I'm a little pathetic in the fact that I still seriously love opening presents.
And finally, out to dinner and movie....Love it!

Dan & Babette, I love how you make me feel just as important as one of your own kids on my b-day. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you do!
Sash, who provided me with my so cute birthday outfit (she went to great lengths to find things I had pointed out) Thanks girl, you're the best!
And a Extra Special THANK YOU to my thoughtful, generous, best-looking, smart, sweet husband....you really know how to make a girl feel more than special. I love you!

Two cakes, wow I never have had two cakes on my b/day..you really are the princess. We are happy you had such a great day and yes Maddi you do have alot of people who love you...you are the best daugter-in-law [daughter] thanks for all you do...we love you too..
Happy Birthday, girlie! I loved your post with the 23 random things about you! It was fun to learn about the "unknown." Just so you know, Jodi says when she died her hair completely blonde, she felt more "giddy!" Maybe that will give you an idea of how it would be! LOL! Glad you had a good birthday! We should get together before Cole starts school again!
We had fun getting tig ha ha we need to make a tradition of tapping people. We also need to get clint he will never feel so helpless as he cries for mercey that will never be given. He will wish Rodney was there to rock him to sleep. He wil have to consider it Armegedon! He will run but he cant hide
