Farmington Canyon

Yep, this is where we were Saturday night. Me, Cole, Nate, Kourt, Tyler and my cute cousin Sarah drove up Farmington Canyon to a little campground for a little fire and lots o food. The drive up this canyon was the most terrifying drive I've ever been on. I almost passed out several times (not even kidding). This picture does not even do this canyon justice. As we drove along the steep, narrow little trail looking out the window and seeing a million mile drop STRAIGHT down, all I could think was "one little slip and we're all gonners". More than a couple times, I'm pretty sure Cole and I reached for the door handle ready to jump out to safety. I think its safe to say we're both a leeetle afraid of heights. Aside from being scared out of my mind, it really was one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen. The view truly was overwhelmingly amazing.
Anyway, we made it to the campground in one piece thank goodness and got our fire going. I ate my weight in food with all the hot dogs, chips, candy and s'mores, so needless to say, with all the food, it was bound to be a good time (for me anyway). I wish I could have got more pictures, but by the time we got settled, it was way too dark.
This was one of our favorite nights this summer, it was so nice to get out and just laugh and eat and talk all night with such good company, we can't wait til next time! *hopefully somewhere a little closer to the ground :)
