We had a fun but busy weekend...so busy that I forgot to bring my camera just about everywhere we went....nice.
Anyway, Thanksgiving was a nice and relaxing day. We went to Cole's parents house first for a Thanksgiving lunch. The food was delicious and we were lucky to spend time with Cole's grandparents this year.
Later that night we went to my parents house for a Thanksgiving dinner. Again, the food was nothing short of amazing and it was nice to have a house FULL of people. Holidays are so much fun when you have tons of family around. We couldn't be more thankful for the families we have.
Friday, we woke up suuuupppeerrr early (3:30 am) and hit the stores. We've done this the last couple years, even though every year we say it will be our last. But EVERY year we find the best bargains....and I'd be lying if I said I didn't love running and pushing my way to get what I want.
That night, we had reservations at The Roof restaurant.
This was the view from our table...so beautiful. Of course the food was excellent, but we probably could have picked a better day than the day after Thanksgiving....I think we were all still a little full from the day before. Even though we couldn't fit much food, it was fun to see the lights turn on and temple square is just a neat place to be.
I mean, could this possibly be any more beautiful or majestic???
After dinner, we walked around temple square to look at the lights...
Seeing the lights is one of my favorite traditions, so it was really fun to go the night they lit them. We are getting soooo excited for Christmas!
Oh...and I chopped my hair. Can you tell? It makes me feel very grown up. Not very good pictures of it....but yes it is short and most days I love it.
