Long Time. No Post.

Warm weather seems to make things busier. But I'll take it. I am loving the heat. We've enjoyed a few fun things recently.

We celebrated Mother's Day (and it was lovely).
Of course we'd be nowhere without our Mom's. We love you!
(Picture of me & my Mom is last years version....we were much too busy playing to take pictures! whoops)

We celebrated my Mom's Birthday (Love you Mom!)

And Cole finished studying....took his boards......

AND PASSED!!!!

Wahoo! Couldn't be more proud. Hopefully our posts won't include ANY school work for a little while :)

We've seen some good and some not so good movies.
We (as in I) have eaten countless amounts of slushies, smoothies, shakes and gelatas.
We finally turned our air on for the first time this year and never knew I could miss the smell of central air.
Life is good.

So Exciting!

Two blog posts in one day...now that is exciting!

We had a busy week last week with birthdays and CoLe'S GrAdUaTiOn!!!!!!

It seems like just yesterday, we were at the beginning of this program. Cole's graduation came and went so quickly. Cole's mom and I talked him into walking for this graduation since this really was the hardest and most time consuming part of his education. I was so glad we got him to do it, because it was nice to recognize all his hard work these past two years.

Cole walking in...
I couldn't get a very good picture of Cole accepting his diploma because there were "hand sanitizer soldiers" everywhere! Each graduate had to have a handful of sanitizer or else...Swine Flu!

The Graduate and The Proud Wife...

Purple looks good on this one!...

Cole & his family...

We stopped at Cole's grandparent's house on the way home so they could see him in his getup... They were very proud.

We took the party to El Matador to celebrate, where Cole opened his gift from Me, my family and Cole's family....an iPod Touch! He is so excited to finally be as cool as me :) Just kidding babe...you deserve it!!!!

This was such a HUGE accomplishment! I couldn't be more proud of my little Wildcat Graduate! Not too much longer and you'll be done for good! Keep up the good work. I am ALWAYS so proud of you!

Fun things

First things first.......
This cute boy got accepted into the MRI program!!!

I knew he would, but it is still HUGE! We are thisclose to being D-O-N-E with school! All the hard work is paying off and we're starting to see the light at the end of this tunnel. Wahoo! Congrats hon!

Of course Easter was great. Saturday, we colored eggs with Cole's fam. Surprisingly, we got through the day with no color on the carpet! (I don't think that has happened since Cole and I got married.....serious.)
Good job this year guys!!! See how pretty???

My artistic effort...

Me and Cole coloring our eggs (don't mind me....we had a loooooonnnngggg morning)
Cole and his parents

Sunday, we had a lovely day spent with family and food :) We stopped by Cole's parents to give Whitney her Easter present. She loves new toys, so she was obviously excited.
That night, we went to my parents for dinner and an egg hunt. Cole and I have been in charge of filling and hiding the eggs for the kiddos for a couple years now. The kids are all at such fun ages and had no problem finding the eggs.

Kids make the holidays so much fun. Cole had a good time teaching the boys to play soccer (or keep away from the looks of it:) and in turn became the favorite to sit by at dinner. And believe me, he will never let me hear the end of that.

It was such a nice end to such a long week we had. And even better, we saw some signs of spring! Can't wait!

Who needs a holiday anyway????

Cole and I were both so stoked for the 4th of July. It seems like it has been too long since we've had a long weekend and we were in desperate need for some down time.
The long weekend started out SO fun with Cole getting off work early on Thursday and being able to make it to a late show of Hancock (which we both loved). On our way back home, I started to feel a little funny and by the time we got there I was sure I'd be in for a long night. I was. I spent all night awake so sick that I was sure I'd be reaching for the light at any moment. Friday wasn't much better. I tried to sleep and sip Pepsi (cause thats what mom did to always make me feel better) so I could salvage what I could of the 4th of July. Poor Cole sat around all day running to the store for me, cleaning up after me and Lysoling every step I took. Still praying he doesn't catch the bug. I owe him big time next year.
I finally felt okay enough to go with Cole's family to the Weber High fireworks. Naturally, there were no pictures taken. (You can imagine what a girl can look like after a day like that) Anyway, they were enjoyable and it was nice to get out of the house.

The rest of the weekend was pure craziness. Ben, Sarah and Trevy are officially Montanan's! I drove up there with them and my mom on Saturday to help wrangle the kiddo while they moved in and visit some family. We had such a good time and I felt so lucky to spend some time with them before we left them there for TWO YEARS.
It was an emotional, fun, speedy little trip and I missed Cole like crazy, but there were so many special memories that were made.

Anyway, enough with the rambling. We hope you all had a safe (illness free) 4th of July!

whew.

We made it to another week! After this weekend, we didn't know if we'd make it through.
Saturday was SO nuts, but it actually turned out to be a fun day. I got up early (boo.) to make it to Jordan's baby shower. It was decorated SO cute! Her little Tenesey is going to be seriously decked out! I still can't believe she is going to be a MOM! It seems like just yesterday we were goofy little girls in junior high.

She's going to be such a cute mom!

After Jordan's shower, I headed over to my parent's for Sarah's sister Katie's bridal shower. I kinda forgot about my camera, so I didn't get any pictures the rest of the day. Whoops!
Anyway, her shower turned out so nice. She is going to be such a beautiful bride!!

And FINALLY, we made it over to Nate & Kourtney's wedding shower/BBQ. It was fun for Cole to see some old friends and the food was really yummy. We are really excited for these two, they are good friends and such a fun couple.

After a little R & R, we got back together with Nate, Kourt, Clint & Tabby to see IRON MAN.

Too good for words!!!!!

Last but not least, my FAVORITE part of Saturday....
Every Saturday night at about midnight, this show comes on. It has become habit for Cole and I to stay up and watch it. Cole seriously loves the show and I just think he is the silliest man on earth. I mean seriously, could the money really be worth all that? A lot of the time, I have to close my eyes cause I can't watch. Just this last Saturday, the moron cut of a POISONOUS snake's head and then took a bite right out of the snake. I'm still having a hard time believing that this show is for real. Either way, I look forward to it every Saturday.

We got this in the mail on Saturday. If you can't see it, it is an honor award for this past semester. Cole doesn't think this is as cool as I do, but he has gotten one of these for the past 3 semesters for being on the honor roll. And every single time I get to hang it on our fridge. This is such a HUGE accomplishment, because school seriously sucks and this would be an impossible task for me. Cole has the brains in this relationship and I am PrOuD to say it! He has worked so unbelievably hard this past year and it seems to finally be paying off. Not only has he gotten an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper to tell him how smart he is, but he was lucky enough to receive an academic scholarship for this semester. I am so lucky I have such a smart husband! WoW, WoW, WoW is all I can say. I'm so so so proud of you babe!!!! Keep up all the good work :)
